It’s been a busy summer with pirate shows all over North America almost on a daily basis! Over the past three months I’ve “sailed” to Gravenhurst, Toronto, London, Windsor, New York, Chicago and many more cities and towns. Each show has been full of family friendly pirate fun and hi-jinks. In the month ahead I’ll be heading to the Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls as well as Eldon House in London Ontario and near the end of the month I’ll be heading across the country to Vancouver B.C.! I am Captain Corbin the London Ontario magic pirate. I perform all over North America. However I am based in London Ontario and perform at a lot of events in the region. My shows are family friendly and fun. As a result, they are a pirate themed performance everyone can enjoy.

Captain Corbin the magical pirate is a fun character to play. I perform great family friendly shows with a Yarr and an argh! However I do not perform with a gun or a sword. Being family friendly is very important to me. With audiences full of children, I know how influential I can be. During my pirate themed magic shows I often include an educational lesson. As a result, my performances are often at schools and libraries in the area. Children learn best when they are having fun. My pirate themed magic shows are a lot of fun. I have shows that discuss reading literacy, math skills, the importance of water safety and water conservation and many more! I also customize performances. As a result, I may be able to incorporate your events themes into my show.

Performances at Fairs and Festivals

I have been performing all over Canada for over 25 years. My shows are very interactive and a lot of fun. I am a regular performer at Ontario festivals and events. I also perform at attractions across the country and amusement parks. Every summer for the past 5 years I have been performing at Storybook Gardens amusement park in London Ontario. I am there once a week throughout July and August. Shows sell out very fast. As a result it’s always best to get there early and grab a seat.

Interactive, inclusive and fun

During my shows I get the audience involved. They become part of my crew, and part of the show. As a result, everyone becomes engaged with the performance. I often bring volunteers up onstage to help me. Boys and girls and even parents come up to perform. There is a lot of interactivity and fun. Usually Captain Corbin can’t make the magic happen without the help of his assistance. It makes for a lot of laughs. And memories that last a long time after.

Summer Storybook Gardens Entertainment

My shows at Storybook gardens are always family friendly and very funny. Often lasting 30 minutes or more it’s great Storybook Gardens entertainment. As a result, they are Full of magic and pirate hi-jinks. Everyone has a great time. My onstage assistants often become pirates or princesses in the presentation. Taking part by assisting with the illusions or helping Captain Corbin out of the trouble he gets in. Often the Captain Corbin is looking for a lost treasure and the children help him with the task. Captain Corbin’s pirate themed magic shows are fun for the whole family. The shows are inclusive and interactive and everyone has a great time.

Storybook Gardens

Storybook gardens is an amusement park in London Ontario. Full of fun activities, amusements, rides and a water park it’s a great attraction. I visited Storybook gardens many times as a child and it is a huge thrill for me to be performing there as the feature storybook gardens entertainment during the summer. This year you will be able to see my pirate themed magic shows there every Wednesday in July and August. I present two magic shows each Wednesday (one in the morning, one afternoon) and they always fill up very fast. Admission to the shows is included with your park admission, there is no extra charge. As a result, it is a great break in the middle of your storybook day. Ahoy, I am the storybook Gardens Pirate. I perform family friendly pirate magic at Storybook gardens all summer long. It is a blast and one of my favourite places to perform. I perform wonderful pirate themed magic shows all over North America. I have been a professional performing pirate magician for over 25 years. Well, Shiver me timbers, I be back! Every Sunday morning I will be in Gravenhurst Ontario with the Muskoka steamship association. I will be taking over the Whenonah 2 for a two hour pirate cruise on Lake Muskoka. This great family friendly cruise is a feature muskoka entertainment and not to be missed. My water safety shows are called Oceans of Magic. During this 45 minute show the children learn about water safety and water conservation. The shows are all about 45 minutes long, however I stick around after every performance to meet and greet with the children. The Water Safety shows have two main messages. We first talk about water safety as it relates to swimming in pools or other bodies of water. We also discuss Water conservation at home. The magic is incredible, pirate themed and a lot of fun. Card magic, magic with silks, rubber fish and water. Always a lot of fun and interactive, with some children coming on stage to assist. March Break Magic shows

I am Captain Corbin the magic pirate and I perform March Break Magic shows. All over Ontario for the past 25 years I have traveled from library to library performing my magic shows. During March Break Magic shows are very popular and I am often performing 3-4 shows a day. My shows are fun and full of magic, but they also have an educational aspect to them. My literacy themed show is a big hit at libraries over the March Break Magic Week. As a result, I am often quite busy.
