I am Captain Corbin and next week I will be performing March Break Pirate shows. At libraries across Ontario, my pirate themed magic shows will be entertaining children and educating them on the importance of reading. Titled “Reading Treasures” my march break pirate shows entertain and share the importance of literacy with the kids. Children learn best when they are having fun! As a result, my shows are a lot of fun.

March Break Pirate Magic shows are fun

My pirate themed magic shows are full of fun, interactive magic that gets the kids involved. Therefore they pay attention. With this in mind I add a lot of educational value to my programs. Reading Treasures is a magic show with this in mind. During the show I discuss the importance of books and reading. A literacy based magic show. The kids listen to Captain Corbin the pirate and retain what he says. If a real live pirate says reading is important, they believe it! It’s every Childs fantasy to be a pirate, and they will listen every time.

During my Reading Treasures pirate themed magic show, instead of finding treasure I find books! The premise is that Captain Corbin has sailed to the library looking for treasures. However books are all he finds. As a result, the Captain Corbin is somewhat confused. During the 45min. show, the children are the ones that tell him the books are the treasure. In the library books are like treasure chests, and the stories they contain are the treasures to be had! Captain Corbin soon agrees and determines Reading is a Treasure!

Chatham Ontario Libraries

Most of my March Break Magic shows occur at the Chatham public libraries. On Tuesday march 12 I will be at the main chatham library and the Wallaceburg branch in the afternoon. On Wednesday March 13th I will be appearing at the Blenheim public library. Tickets go fast, and they are free. I recommend contacting the libraries today to reserve your spot!.

Summer pirate cruises

Ahoy All, I am Captain Corbin the magical pirate and I host summer pirate cruises. Every year in July and August I sail to Gravenhurst Ontario and host pirate cruises on the huge steamship Wenonah. This summer I will be north of Peterborough as well hosting summer pirate cruises on Stoney lake. As a result, I’m going to be a busy pirate! I hope you can visit me on the ship

Summer pirate cruises in Gravenhurst Ontario

2019 marks the 16th year I have been hosting pirate cruises in Gravenhurst Ontario. As a result, I’ve become quite well known in the area. “sailing” The Wenonah 2 on Lake Muskoka and raising a pirate ruckus with all the cottagers. I yell a lot and fire my cannon, but it’s all in good fun. The cottagers often come out on the lake in their boats to “attack” me! The summer pirate cruses are run by the Muskoka steamship association and are a ton of fun.

Family friendly and very exciting. Every year I write a new script for the cruise. As a result, guests return year after year to experience it all over again. Lost treasure, attacking cottagers, Pirate hi-jacking this cruise has everything! Tickets for this exciting cruise sell out fast. As a result, you should book your tickets well in advance. Cruises last apox. 2 hours and run most Sunday mornings in July and August.

Stoney Lake Summer Pirate Cruises

This summer begins a whole new pirate adventure on Stoney lake just north of Peterborough Ontario. Stony Lake summer Pirate cruises are going to be a lot of fun and an exciting experience you won’t want to miss. Beginning late June 2019 and continuing Saturday mornings throughout the summer. I will be starting a mutiny aboard the ship “Spirit of the Kawarthas”

Captain Bill will be in trouble as I encourage all the young pirates to follow me as I start a mutiny and take over the ship. I have found a treasure map and We “sail” through the beautiful stoney lake area looking for treasure island. Soon we find Treasure Island after a wacky adventure. Unfortunately Captain Bill finds a cannon first. With a newly armed pirate at the helm, Captain Corbin gets demoted back to cabin boy as we sail back to port. Storybook Gardens Pirate

I am Captain Corbin the magical pirate and I am the Storybook Gardens Pirate. Storybook Gardens is an amusement park in London Ontario. I have been performing there for over 5 years. It is a lot of fun and I love the audiences that come to watch me from all over the world. I am a magician, and children’s entertainer. I perform all over North America. My water safety shows are called Oceans of Magic. During this 45 minute show the children learn about water safety and water conservation. The shows are all about 45 minutes long, however I stick around after every performance to meet and greet with the children. The Water Safety shows have two main messages. We first talk about water safety as it relates to swimming in pools or other bodies of water. We also discuss Water conservation at home. The magic is incredible, pirate themed and a lot of fun. Card magic, magic with silks, rubber fish and water. Always a lot of fun and interactive, with some children coming on stage to assist. Pirate Parties full of Magic and fun

I am Captain Corbin the magical pirate. I perform Pirate Parties that are full of Magic and fun all over North America. With well over 25 years performing experience you can be sure my shows are skillful, entertaining and will engage all the children. Pirate Parties full of Magic and Fun!

Boys and Girls will have a great time during Captain Corbin’s Pirate Parties. Boys become pirates or pirate prince’s and the girls become Pirate Princesses or Lady Pirates at the start of the show. As a result, the show is very inclusive and interactive. Even before the show begins Captain Corbin gets the children excited and entertains them as guests are arriving.

I always arrive to the venue in full costume at least 30 minutes before the show is to begin. Therefore the children never see me out of costume. I always appear as a fun, friendly and slightly wacky pirate. When I arrive, I meet and greet all the children present and set up my show. All I require is the space to perform and a bit of electricity for the music. As a result nothing needs to be rented and I can perform in just about any environment. A living room, a den, cottage, even outdoors.
