London Ontario Magic

I am Captain Corbin the London Ontario magic pirate. I perform all over North America. However I am based in London Ontario and perform at a lot of events in the region. My shows are family friendly and fun. As a result, they are a pirate themed performance everyone can enjoy.

Captain Corbin the magical pirate is a fun character to play. I perform great family friendly shows with a Yarr and an argh! However I do not perform with a gun or a sword. Being family friendly is very important to me. With audiences full of children, I know how influential I can be. During my pirate themed magic shows I often include an educational lesson. As a result, my performances are often at schools and libraries in the area. Children learn best when they are having fun. My pirate themed magic shows are a lot of fun. I have shows that discuss reading literacy, math skills, the importance of water safety and water conservation and many more! I also customize performances. As a result, I may be able to incorporate your events themes into my show.

Performances at Fairs and Festivals

I have been performing all over Canada for over 25 years. My shows are very interactive and a lot of fun. I am a regular performer at Ontario festivals and events. I also perform at attractions across the country and amusement parks. Every summer for the past 5 years I have been performing at Storybook Gardens amusement park in London Ontario. I am there once a week throughout July and August. Shows sell out very fast. As a result it’s always best to get there early and grab a seat.

Interactive, inclusive and fun

During my shows I get the audience involved. They become part of my crew, and part of the show. As a result, everyone becomes engaged with the performance. I often bring volunteers up onstage to help me. Boys and girls and even parents come up to perform. There is a lot of interactivity and fun. Usually Captain Corbin can’t make the magic happen without the help of his assistance. It makes for a lot of laughs. And memories that last a long time after.

Summer Storybook Gardens Entertainment

My shows at Storybook gardens are always family friendly and very funny. Often lasting 30 minutes or more it’s great Storybook Gardens entertainment. As a result, they are Full of magic and pirate hi-jinks. Everyone has a great time. My onstage assistants often become pirates or princesses in the presentation. Taking part by assisting with the illusions or helping Captain Corbin out of the trouble he gets in. Often the Captain Corbin is looking for a lost treasure and the children help him with the task. Captain Corbin’s pirate themed magic shows are fun for the whole family. The shows are inclusive and interactive and everyone has a great time.

Storybook Gardens

Storybook gardens is an amusement park in London Ontario. Full of fun activities, amusements, rides and a water park it’s a great attraction. I visited Storybook gardens many times as a child and it is a huge thrill for me to be performing there as the feature storybook gardens entertainment during the summer. This year you will be able to see my pirate themed magic shows there every Wednesday in July and August. I present two magic shows each Wednesday (one in the morning, one afternoon) and they always fill up very fast. Admission to the shows is included with your park admission, there is no extra charge. As a result, it is a great break in the middle of your storybook day. After an exhausting play at the waterpark there is nothing better then to catch a really funny and entertaining pirate themed magic show

Storybook Gardens Pirate

I am Captain Corbin the magical pirate and I am the Storybook Gardens Pirate. Storybook Gardens is an amusement park in London Ontario. I have been performing there for over 5 years. It is a lot of fun and I love the audiences that come to watch me from all over the world. I am a magician, and children’s entertainer. I perform all over North America. At London’s Storybook Gardens I perform regularly once a week throughout the summer.

Ahoy, I am the storybook Gardens Pirate. I perform family friendly pirate magic at Storybook gardens all summer long. It is a blast and one of my favourite places to perform. I perform wonderful pirate themed magic shows all over North America. I have been a professional performing pirate magician for over 25 years. As a result I have become quite skilled and experienced performing for all kinds of audiences. My magic is fun, funny, family friendly and often quite mind bending. It’s a great show to watch no matter what your age. At Storybook Gardens Pirate shows often fill up quickly. As a result, I usually perform two shows every Wednesday.

Pirate magic shows full of family friendly fun

As Captain Corbin I am a slightly wacky magic pirate who has often lost his way looking for treasure. Therefore I’ve gathered a group (my audience) to help me find it. Hilarity ensues as the children try to help out and often perform magic themselves. The treasure I find becomes the friends I’ve found. Captain Corbin the magic pirate soon realizes the best ship for a pirate is Friendship! After the show ends, the Captain joins his new crew to meet and greet each one. Often the meeting after the show take up more time then the show itself!

I can perform as Captain Corbin at your event as well. A private party, festival, school fair or any special events. You can add a bit of magic and pirate Hi-jinks with me, Captain Corbin. I have a wide variety of shows that will suit most events. Some with educational themes as well. Such as my literacy based Reading treasures show. Therefore I’m a perfect fit at any event. I can also customize my shows to suit your events theme.  A waterfront festival, book fair, or superhero party. I can add magic to any event.

Storybook Gardens Pirate shows

Pirate magician performs Tiki show

Ahoy all,

Yarr as a pirate magician, I really enjoy performing my pirate themed magic shows at schools, libraries and theatres all over North America. My shows are always very interactive and fun. Often I like to add an additional theme to my shows to mix it up and thrill the groups. Over the years I’ve performed shows with educational magic shows, with reading themes and winter themed pirate shows. I also like adding fun themes to my shows such as my Tiki themed pirate magic show. The tiki themed show I call Captain Corbin’s Tiki Troubles show. And I’ve created a whole storyline and plot to go along with the show. It’s not just a magic show, its a pirate adventure show, very similar to a Saturday morning children’s television show and the kids love it.

During the Tiki Troubles show, Captain Corbin the pirate magician shows the children a tiki statue he found on one of his troubles. The statue is supposed to Guard a treasure, but it also has a curse! The show progresses with the Captain trying to get the treasure on his own, but everything goes wrong. He realizes the curse happens when he tries to do things on his own, so he gets the children’s help. When Captain Corbin works together with his friends, he breaks the curse and the Tiki gives up his gold. It’s a great show with the message of working together!

This show is full of magic, and great props and decorations. The tiki statues look great and the stage is often set with tropical backgrounds and floral garlands. I even bring out a volcano! (it’s just a vertical fog machine, but it looks great!)

Once a year you can see me perform a short version of this show on stage at Storybook Gardens. The full show lasts apox. 45min. long, but at storybook gardens in London the show is slimed down to a 30min set.

and of course at the end of the show Captain Corbin shares all his tiki gold with the kids!

Every summer for the last few years I have had the pleasure to perform my pirate themed magic shows on the main stage at Storybook Gardens in London Ontario. The shows are a lot of fun and are always well attended. I often perform 2 or three shows one day a week through the months of July and august. Summer family friendly magic shows. Children’s entertainment that is a lot of fun. I will be returning the Storybook gardens this coming summer and hope to see old friends and new ones!
