I am Captain Corbin the magical pirate. I perform Pirate Parties that are full of Magic and fun all over North America. With well over 25 years performing experience you can be sure my shows are skillful, entertaining and will engage all the children. Boys and Girls of all ages will have a great time during my interactive pirate parties. Even the Adults will have a Blast! (just like a Cannon!)

Pirate Parties full of Magic and Fun!

Boys and Girls will have a great time during Captain Corbin’s Pirate Parties. Boys become pirates or pirate prince’s and the girls become Pirate Princesses or Lady Pirates at the start of the show. As a result, the show is very inclusive and interactive. Even before the show begins Captain Corbin gets the children excited and entertains them as guests are arriving.

I always arrive to the venue in full costume at least 30 minutes before the show is to begin. Therefore the children never see me out of costume. I always appear as a fun, friendly and slightly wacky pirate. When I arrive, I meet and greet all the children present and set up my show. All I require is the space to perform and a bit of electricity for the music. As a result nothing needs to be rented and I can perform in just about any environment. A living room, a den, cottage, even outdoors.

Family Friendly show appropriate for all ages

My Pirate Parties ad princess party are always family friendly. Every show is different as I customize the shows to be age appropriate to the children present. Adults are going to want to stick around and watch as well. The show is entertaining and very magical and the parents will love it. There are many opportunities in the show for pictures, so get those cameras ready. You may also video tape the show for mementos. As a result, you will make memories that last forever. Even without the pictures and videos however, the children will never forget a Captain Corbin pirate party!

Pirate magician performs Tiki show

Ahoy all,

Yarr as a pirate magician, I really enjoy performing my pirate themed magic shows at schools, libraries and theatres all over North America. My shows are always very interactive and fun. Often I like to add an additional theme to my shows to mix it up and thrill the groups. Over the years I’ve performed shows with educational magic shows, with reading themes and winter themed pirate shows. I also like adding fun themes to my shows such as my Tiki themed pirate magic show. The tiki themed show I call Captain Corbin’s Tiki Troubles show. And I’ve created a whole storyline and plot to go along with the show. It’s not just a magic show, its a pirate adventure show, very similar to a Saturday morning children’s television show and the kids love it.

During the Tiki Troubles show, Captain Corbin the pirate magician shows the children a tiki statue he found on one of his troubles. The statue is supposed to Guard a treasure, but it also has a curse! The show progresses with the Captain trying to get the treasure on his own, but everything goes wrong. He realizes the curse happens when he tries to do things on his own, so he gets the children’s help. When Captain Corbin works together with his friends, he breaks the curse and the Tiki gives up his gold. It’s a great show with the message of working together!

This show is full of magic, and great props and decorations. The tiki statues look great and the stage is often set with tropical backgrounds and floral garlands. I even bring out a volcano! (it’s just a vertical fog machine, but it looks great!)

Once a year you can see me perform a short version of this show on stage at Storybook Gardens. The full show lasts apox. 45min. long, but at storybook gardens in London the show is slimed down to a 30min set.

and of course at the end of the show Captain Corbin shares all his tiki gold with the kids!

Magic shows at birthday parties across Ontario

One of my great pleasures is traveling to all my pirate friends wherever they may be and performing Magic shows at birthday parties. A bit of birthday party magic for them on their special days. Due to travel costs I don’t often get to do this for birthdays outside of Ontario, but inside of Ontario I am kept busy sailing me four wheeled ship to all the major towns, cities and countrysides of this province to perform. Magic shows at birthday parties are a lot of fun.

A pirate themed Magic shows at birthday parties is special. As a result, The show has a much more personal feel. Very interactive I get the children involved in the show. Especially the birthday child and we have a pirate party that will be remembered for a long time after.

I have two different sized birthday parties to suit most needs. The Deluxe party has a lot of interaction. I often use 3-4 children during the show as assistants in the show. The Birthday child plays a very special role in the magic show finale, which is often a small illusion.

I like to surprise the birthday child with an illusion. However for the last 10 years or so I’ve left that choice up to the birthday child. It’s fun to give the birthday child an option of what illusion they would like. Some of my choices include making their head disappear, then passing a dozen swords through it, levitating the child in the air and sawing the child in half. Often the birthday child requests I saw their sister in half at the show!

Magic Shows in London Ontario

This past summer Captain Corbin the magical pirate performed a variety of Magic shows in London Ontario. Therefore, One of his best performances was during the summer at London’s White Oaks Mall. The White Oaks mall is a large shopping center filled with all the major stores and They were having a fun, family friendly event. The Captain Corbin pirate themed magic show as well received and the mall was packed with children who came to watch the show. The interactive magic show had many children in the audience come onstage to assist the magician pirate with routines and during the grand finale the pirate threw his gold coins into the audience. Therefore the show was Great fun magic show and The pirate will return very soon.
